Selection of 2d jury in Pentagon papers case is completed on Jan 12 with jury consisting of 10 women and 2 men, including badly wounded Vietnam veteran, W Baltodano, who wants to end war now; defendants D Ellsberg and A Russo say they are pleased by selection; defense expresses surprise over prosecution's allowing Baltodano to be seated as juror; theories are advanced that Govt knows something about Baltodano that defense does not because Govt uses FBI to look into background of prospective jurors, or that Govt decided to risk Baltodano on jury rather than risk reaction of other 11 jurors if wounded veteran were dismissed; opening arguments in trial are expected on Jan 17 or 18, after 6 alternate jurors are scheduled
